GrassRoots United works at the forefront of disaster relief in bringing communities, individuals and organizations together to ensure that the best approaches to sustainable living are achieved. We build critical relationships between local communities and relief organizations, creating strong foundations through which relief workers can pool specialized resources and deliver them to where they are most needed and therefore most effective.Currently GRU is working to assist in the deadly cholera relief effort which is much needed in Haiti, through the Cholera Education Campaign. GRU was the first ngo with a plan in place to assist in the cholera relief efforts in October 2010 when the epidemic first hit.

PROJECT HAITI is a philanthropic effort to raise emergency funds to support cholera relief in Haiti. PROJECT HAITI’s goal is to raise $5,000 to support cholera relief as well as immediate and long term initiatives of GrassRoots United and their partner organization, Rebuild Globally. Haiti still is in dire need. Let’s ensure that the cholera epidemic does NOT continue to take lives and decimate families. Let’s support the NGO’s who work side by side the Haitian people every day. Make your donation today, and ensure a better tomorrow. Rebuilding is the first step, the Haitian people are resilient, but we all need extra help along the way. Let’s show Haiti, GrassRoots United and Rebuild Globally our support!!
